I lived in Chiang Mai 1986-89.  Those were some fine days my friends.  I miss Chiang Mai and hope to visit one day again.

Anyone left from those days and or comments re:

Tony from Black Car bar

Henry the Dutchman, bearded friend, fluent in Thai

I'm told David Lee (owned BBQ joint there) passed some years back.  Sturat from Oasis, and Allen from Love Birds, as well.

There was Willie Brown someone might remember who I worked with there that passed some years back in the US.

My old hang outs;  Black Car, Oasis, Love Birds, The Pub, long forgotten Thai restaurants and bars.

Cheers,

Ken
