Siam Rath reported that the 7th Infantry Regiment taskforce along with medics from Srisangwan hospital in Mae Hong Son, northern Thailand, took a 2 day old boy with a heart condition in a helicopter to Chiang Mai.

The child was named as Natthachai from Muang district.

He was rushed to Maharat Hospital in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai.

The media reported that this was the 23rd occasion in the last year when the helicopter services were deployed to help people get to hospital.
