School director backs down: Football returns for the kids and his golf course is no more

The director of a school in the north east who turned his kid's football pitch into a mini golf course has been forced into a quick about turn.

 

Following a volley of complaints the director has plowed up his golf course and returned the football pitch to its previous condition.

Residents were furious smelling a frivolous personal fancy at the expense of their football loving children. 

But the director continued to maintain in a Sanook report yesterday that he had used all his own money "for the good and the future of the children" under his care.

 

He called the golf course a "pilot" project in afternoon activities. 

 

 

The drama played out in the Nong Yan Sin sub-district of Nakhon Phanom, NE Thailand. 

 

Sanook noted that it was a drama that "jop duay dee" - ended well.

I'll bet he did. And if he'd got away with it then next was to turn the music room into a hostess bar for evening activities!

club rentals:  3000 baht per day

shoes:  10000 baht

caddies: 800 baht per hour

drinks:  200 baht for water

proper golf shirts:  1000 baht

I don't think that he came to his senses as such, but what he did was illegal and he was caught out.

 

IMHO he was "face" shamed into replacing the football pitch, hopefully at his own expense again.

I doubt as a provincial school director he is that “rich” but he is clearly showing signs of power and authority going to his head and feeling immune from any governance and oversight, it’s good he is brought into line. 

 

Not sure how a zealot heathen applies in this case ?

 

Don’t really wish him to suffer, hopefully lesson learned and he will wind his neck in. 

 

Maybe, like the school director, you should keep it grounded and chill out on the bombast…
