If you are so sceptical why come here to ask?

You still might need it for check in, depending where your transfer is.

I arrived late august, direct flight from Australia.

No proof of anything required.

No jabs. No negative pcr/rat.

Nothing.

Immigration official even snorted at the people in front of me who tried to present their papers.

Its over Sir

Well Covid is on the rise here in the west, France published 38000 a day lately.  So if I do travel anywhere I will be vaccinated properly, and I will test before leaving home. Small price to pay to possibly avoid doctors or hospitals in countries where I’m not at home.
