I have supidly booked a trip away from Pattaya on the day I am due to do the proof of 800,000 still in the bank 90 days after renewing my retirement visa. Is it possible to do the report early? Due on a Monday so I would have to do it on the Friday before.

It is tempting to skip it altogether as there appears to be no actual record of the paper requiring me to report. However I am far too scared of Immigration so thank you ubonjoe I shall certainly do it on the Friday.

By all means report on the Friday for peace of mind however it is 100% not necessary.

This has come up in other threads and many first hand reports confirming that.

If you are close to immigration fine.

Only posting this for others.

Since you need both Immigration and your bank o be open, keep an eye on the calendar. There are holidays coming up, starting tomorrow the 10th. Then the 13th and 14th.

You might need to change your user name to Scotland the Scared ????.

Last year I reported 2 weeks early, this year I didn't bother at all.

Tomorrow is not a holiday for immigration or banks.

The 13th, 14th and the 24th are holidays for this month for immigration. Banks will be open on the 14th.
