ikke1959
Are they goig to tell the world there that they can't solve the blacksmoke cars, no investment or promotion to use more solar energy for households, by panels on he roof, Keep the tradition of oldtimers on the road , and nowhere bins to put plastic bags in and other rubbish? Look around you and ask yourself what in fact the Government is doing for a better Government.

mikebell
I doubt anyone in the Gov even knows where Egypt is, let alone what the fuss about climate change is all about, given the carcinogenic air which is tolerated in Bangkok & Chiang Mai.

Partenavia
It would be fine if you could actually see something happening here. There should be solar panels everywhere in the North, we have months of sunshine, but there isn't, it's the exception rather than the rule. These conferences used to be held in places where people wanted to go to, like Bali, Cancun, Rio, Gstaad, or even Copenhagen and Paris. After having the nerve to stage the last one in Glasgow, of all places, the idea that they can expect hard-working climate zealots to go to an Egyptian desert town is a bit much. If this carries on, in a few years they'll find themselves in Ulaan Batar or Kabul. Then where will the planet be?
