Did you bring your enlarger with you to Thailand? I’d really like to bring my enlarger & f-stop clock with me but I’m not sure if customs would charge me a lot to do so.

Virtually anything like that, brought in in your baggage, will not be charged

Yeah, the customs chaps are really on the lookout for easy pickings.

 

Over-limit booze and tobacco, easy rules, simple punishment. Anything that looks "difficult" gets waved through.

Yes. The column was checked baggage, because it is too long to mail. I think I mailed the rest of it. Used to be able to ship things surface mail at reasonable rates, and rarely pay any duty.

Has anyone grid making their own liquid emulsion. I’ve used a commercial one that worked well on watercolour paper
