Popular Post webfact
by TNR Staff THE widely-followed Panda Lab Doctor Facebook page warned people to not eat bats after a woman who frequently posts video clips about food shared one showing herself eating them, TV Channel 7 said yesterday (Nov. 8th). Mr. Pakphum Dejhassadin, a medical technologist who runs the popular Panda Lab Doctor page, said he saw a picture of this woman eating bats and then traced it to her video clip where she ate one of them with delight, dipping it in sauce and also enjoying the soup. He warned that bats are a source of germs and carry over 60 types of viruses and people should stop messing around with them and learn from the global Covid-19 pandemic. Fruit bat's are a delicacy as they only eat fruit their meat is sweet. Popular Post KhunLA
I thought a better warning might be something like: Don't release an engineered bio weapon virus into society, unless of course, you don't care how many millions people you kill on the way to record profits in the billions, while knocking the middle class down a rung or 3. Not eating bats would be common sense also ... ???? 1

Bat stew is not an uncommon dish in many parts of Asia, it was served to us at 5 star in Mauritius some years ago.....far too many small bones for my liking. Popular Post Stocky
It's been suggested that the relatively low mortality rates for Covid in SE Asia is probably because bats have long been in the local diet, so the population has had prior exposure to bat viruses. 1

At least Ozzy thought the bat thrown on the stage was a toy. His own words: “I thought it was a rubber bat,” Osbourne said. “I picked it up, put it in my mouth, crunched down, bit into it, being the clown that I am.”
Eaglekott
My wife sometimes shows me videos of people eating crazy tings, or crazy amount of things in front of their own camera. I have just to say what stupid people, do anything for a click. Find something intelligent to show instead.

Not really, I was at the trader fair in my local temple yesterday watching an array of creepy crawlies cooked in soy sauce that normally scurry across the dirt being readily consumed by locals with delight. They may well be high in protein... but not high on my go-to list.

He also said "Don't smoke, don't run with scissors and don't stick your hand in the fan." I was at a place Isaan once, fan with no guard/shroudspinning away. I acted like a moth to the flame and slowly walked towards it with my hand stuck out. Several folks started "Yelling " Mai chai!" Guess you'd have had to been there.
