Would prefer to use some UdonThani  builder with a reasonable reputation/ ability.

What has the cost/sq metre got to do with it. Quality and source of materials, the actual number of said sq mtrs, 

A bit like having a carpet fitter give you a sq mtr FITTING quote, when really he only fits the outside, the middle simply follows suit.

It's a well know, well used method of off the cuff quotation used world wide, so apparently you are not familiar with the building trade and your comment is therefore dismissed as one of the usual know all know nothing yobbos .

One of the other forum members provided me with this a few months ago which should help you with your estimating... dependent on the quality of the build (low/medium/high) of course.

 

The costs are compiled from 2018 to 2021 and show approximate cost in baht/sq.m.

 

 

 

That's pretty much spot on.  Graph below from above post.

Recommend insulated block;  Q / con / k block, or whatever name

 

Also go with an insulated (thickest) BlueScope roof.  Extended roofs for shading, with house position avoiding as much sun exposure as possible.

 

Last 2 house used that thinking and turned out great, economical, and easy on the electric / AC bill.  Do consider a solar system as well worth the extra investment.

Your response of course will certainly enhance your standing as someone worth answering. 

Have you considered asking a couple of builders?

Anywhere between 3,500 Baht and over 28,000 Baht, and yes, we have built both
