Koh Kaew – Two monkeys were caught after reportedly disturbing local residents on the Coconut Island in Koh Kaew.


The director of the Khao Phra Thaeo Nature and Wildlife Education Center, Mr. Pongchart Chuahom, told The Phuket Express that they were notified from locals on Coconut Island in the Koh Kaew sub-district, Mueang Phuket district over the past weekend about the incident.

 

Two monkeys were reportedly causing chaos in residential areas, disturbing villagers, making noise, causing property damage, and more.

On KohJum many moons ago a troop of monkeys started attacking people on the track between the two resorts and the village, one gunshot later and no more troublesome monkeys, island animal welfare.
