Compatible Printers or Printer/Scanners

Featured Replies

My HP OfficeJet Pro seems to have died after 5 years of faithful service so it looks like replacement time.

Any recommendations for a fully compatible printer or printer/scanner that will work with Linux Mint 19.3?

I guess that I need another HP model, using HPLIP.  I can upgrade to Mint 20 or 20.1 if necessary.

Thanks.

Just today received a Brother T420W from Invade to replace a seven year old Canon. It works great, wireless, ink tanks, 2 year warranty. Fine for my medium home use. Bht 4990 plus Bht 240 for Kerry, arrived within 48 hours of ordering.

Could have got it cheaper on Lazada, but I trust Invade for any problems.

Thanks.  I'll put on the list to consider.

Also consider a slight upgrade Brother 520W. I've been using it for school and it's been an absolute workhorse.

the only difference was the LCD display, all other specs the same. But yes, good reliable printers.
