Patong –  Floating lanterns and fireworks were seized on the Patong beach after complaints.

The Kathu District Chief Siwat Rawangkul told the Phuket Express today (December 8th). “We have received complaints that there were vendors who were selling floating lanterns and fireworks on Patong Beach.

These vendors have annoyed tourists and may cause some danger from floating lanterns and fireworks.”

There not trying very hard to catch them , the fireworks have been going off every night for the past 4 months from 8 pm continually until 4 am. Here is the guy selling them every night with the number plate removed from his old Honda Click.

The Patong beach police station at the end of Bangla rd is in full view of of everything.

They are again illegal fireworks going off again tonight right in front of my place , very loud and annoying everybody
