Unbelievable that they didn't report it when it happened and waited 5-20 years.

All to do with shame, shock, trauma, power gradients and things like that. But those kind of explanations don't usually fly far on this forum.

When an actor, musician or politician is accused of anything sexual the media is happy to jump in with innuendos and gossip. It ain't over till the fat woman sings.

''Journalism'' is mostly about gossip, $h!? stirring and backstabbing. And tends to attract the appropriate characters for it. Mostly. There are ethical journalists and broadcasters. Just not the majority.

Well, a lot of people who get raped just can't talk about it initially because of the trauma. On top of that you'd have to go through intense police "interrogations" and medical examinations when you press charges. Not everyone is capable of dealing with that right after a rape.

Agreed,

I mean it wasn't the 60s or 70s when this stuff wouldn't be believed or the Police wouldn't listen.

They can't use that excuse these days, these are allegedly supposed to have taken place in the 2000s

I also feel there are those jumping on the bandwagon as they can smell ' cash '

Mmmm,

But they've now suddenly found the courage to come forward?

Certainly Kevin Spacey is not an innocent man. One of Hollywood dirty men with or without those new cases. A man who speaks dirty. He already is history anyway, bye bye Hollywood.

For sure,

No more Hollywood for him.

I actually met and worked on a film with him many years ago and let's just say as a young, fit man I learnt (was advised by older folks on the crew) very quickly to make sure I kept arms length from him at all times and never to be alone with him.

That's a shame, you might have been able to get a few quid compensation if he's found guilty.

Just sayin.????????????????

Cleared on all 7 charges. The jury said so.

Interesting to see Democrat Spacey cleared on all charges. Despite practically admitting it in his own statement after being charged.

Gates and Clinton also never charged for their trips on Lolita express with Epstein to his island.

Obviously nothing in it though.
