Any recent experiences? Ho Chi Mihn - Non O

Featured Replies

Thinking about going to Ho Chi Minh to get a Non O multiple entry visa based on thai spouse, like in the good old days pre covid!

Their website seems to imply it's possible, a bit vague on what the financial proof required is.

Has anyone done this recently? any positive (or negative) outcomes?

many thanks

6 months of bank statements required now. Was successful about a month ago. Need an appointment drop off one day pick up next afternoon cost 200 us dollars.

Thank you

This was for Non-O married to a Thai visa, right?

Thai bank or foreign bank? How much cash are they looking for?

Yes was for non O for marriage. They didn't say what they wanted on the 6 months of bank statements, but I had over 100k baht a month transferred for every month. I showed them my Thai bank account but I think they will accept a foreign account too.

OP, first step might be to check available appointment times.

Read a report recently that it was well in advance.

My preferred option would be Saigon but if timing becomes an issue Savannakhet might be an alternative as I understand it's still walk in available.
