So, away from the prying eyes of the riffraff wider TV community, how true to life is your TV personality?

Me? It's a complete fabrication. bendix is nothing more than a figment of my imagination. In real life, his creator is really rather mean, cruel and cynical with a sharp tongue.

I too am virtually the same in real life as cyber life. I do swear a bit more though in the comfort and privacy of my own life

Pretty much the same here as in real life. Happy go lucky most of the time and never take life too seriously - nobody gets out alive anyway.

This side of the screen I'm an easy going type who wouldn't say boo to a goose. It's not that I'm a coward it's just that I don't see much point in it.

I'm just as juvenile IRL. Must be the effect of living in nightclubs for the whole of my twenties. Considered a "functioning" alky by many. Guilty of making comment on threads I have absolutely none of the faintest idea about. A few gems of good info. there too.

Just thinking about it, it must be hard to put together a complete fabrication. I couldn't do it & keep the story straight. After a few mothns the rich playboy would slowly turn into the racing driver with good political sense into the astronaut who had problems picking up chicks. Members on this board would pick you to pieces in seconds.

I probably let my weird sense of humour have freer rein here than I do in real life (learned to control myself - too many fat lips) but I don't adopt a "persona".

Here in cyber, I tend to allow my kinder, gentler side to show, but in real life, I'm more of the heartless, cruel, emotionless, don't-give-a-<deleted>-about-anyone type. The guy sitting at the back of the bar paying attention to no one, but watching everyone.

I had a laugh a couple of weeks back. Trying to explain to some people why something couldn't be done a certain way, and not to worry, my job was to make sure it got done the right way.

A couple days later, one of my buddies mentioned that he'd heard a couple guys talking about me the night before. He said "From what I hear, you can be a bit of an @sshole at times".

I said "Wow ! A compliment ! Because I'm usually a lot of an @sshole most of the time !"

(it helps cut down on the number of people that show up for things like birthday parties !)
