I'm confused - Using a Visa Agent
What you described using an agent is accurate. The bank account is the simple part. Approx 5k. Most of which is insurance policy cost to bank. Most likely BBL. You friend already had a non O previously so agent provided service to cover the financial requirements. If in future he wants to change back to DYI then he can seek advice from forum. I notice that friend had option to change to based on retirement to based on marriage. The financials are far easier for marriage and can be used after extension granted. He could have brought time by obtaining 60 extension to visit wife, but that's all water under the bridge. -

Is It Better to Date a “6” Than a “10” in Thailand?
My wife is very pretty, and I have been very happy. I think she would have been rated a 9 when she was in her twenties and thirties. -

unlimited land border crossings
I speak and understand English quite well. Not being limited by any number does not say its unlimited, it means there isn't a specified number any long. This conversation with you is over as its circular. We disagree on the definition. -

Russian Duma mulling reintroducing the infamous USSR Food Stamps to alleviate poverty
I haven’t said that. The economy held pretty well against sanctions and colossal war spendings, but now freshly printed money started to leak to financial system, causing inflation and depreciation of rouble. The impulse is over and there is one way now, down. However strength of economy and population is pretty strong (especially if keep in mind inability to publicly express own opinion) and even with decline there will enough power to continue the war for years. -

Bus Carrying Isan Dance Troupe Collides with German’s Car, Three Injured
The most famous morlam troupe for many years, lot of competition these days. Nok Noi Ulraiporns band, although I don't think she runs it these days, seen many times. -

Still love your Country?
I think it’s important to remember the number of farangs on AN posting negatively about their home countries is but a tiny fraction of the total number of expats living in Thailand (both working and retired). The mast majority of expats aren’t posting negatively, and most aren’t even reading AN, let alone posting. I think most just see it for what it is; neither better nor worse, just different. Home country has pros and cons, Thailand has pros and cons. Most are just getting on with their lives. My best advice is to ignore the negative posters, both about home countries and Thailand. I don’t think they’re representative of the whole community. -

Belgian 80, Attacked and Robbed by Teenage Gang on Christmas Day in Pattaya
Can't the hold the parents responsible for this behavior? I thought I remember a few stories a couple months back about Police charging the Parents. Definitely not acceptable. I guess a group of us need to meet with the Mayor and some leaders of the Police to let them know this should not continue. Seems to be teen related events hitting the news. Did Police scare them away from Bali Hai pier area and now they have moved elsewhere to continue to cause problems?
