It doesn't sound like studying martial arts is your reason for wanting to stay here for 12 months.

Is 1 year of studying martial arts your reason for staying here??

You can study martial arts in your home country for 1 year, there's no reason to do it in Bangkok. ????

Or do you want to spend a year here for other reasons?

this school even offers 5-year student visa.

The compelling reason for studying 1-year Thai martial arts is to protect yourself from asia-hate crime and other crimes, to avoid visa run, to make your body slimmer and fitter while enjoying Thai food, Thai massage, etc.

Visas are given for various specific reasons.

If he wants to stay here for another reason, there could well be a visa available for that specific reason. Hence the question, what is his real reason for wanting to stay here. ????

Jeesuz there are some cretins on this forum.

Haha, as though you could do anything to stop him coming here.

Try linking your brain to pointless keyboard slamming.

I'd say recent Chinese visa abuses are a magnitude higher. than one guy wanting to study martial arts...why don't you go learn mandarin go on Chinese forum and try and block them at every turn ?

Oh please, take another xanax and call up the basement stairs for your mum to bring you down some milk and cookies.

The OP is asking questions about a currently available, and legal visa that he would be eligible to apply for.  He was just checking if there was a school offering it in Bangkok in preference to Chang Mai.

Jeesuz there are some petty creeps on this forum.  No wonder the bulk of long term members have left.  If it wasn't for Sheryl's participation here I would be gone also.
