I used to like wandering around in that general area around Yaowarat/Pahurat.  45 years back we had a favorite little hole in the wall Indian restaurant in a back alley. Bought a couple things at Amorn Electronics (17 years ago LOL). 

Some of the bigger hardware stores have small ones(new)

I tested one the other day but even though it was rated at 3400 rpm the airflow was poor.

If you cant find anything 2nd hand,i use an electric blower,multi speed and can clean the yard with it.Something like this.
