webfact Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Sanook Thai Caption: The poor old trees Sanook reported that Thai social media turned on staff at a national park in the north after they had a contractor asphalt an area of trees for a car park. The situation came to light on the Facebook page of award winning writer Vanchai Tantivitayapitak who pointed out that such work would kill the trees. They would be unable to get water or develop naturally. Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary in Chiang Mai responded at 11 pm last night promising that the asphalt would be removed one meter around each tree. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-02-10 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m.
