The recognized international standard is 0.698 liters per cubit.

5% -> 10%

 

The size you need depends on the humidity of your area and the volume to dehumidify. For my 500cu metres workshop our small dehumidifier makes a noticeable difference after running for 10 hours.

They are not cheap. They are not quiet. If free standing they increase the temperature (physics 101). You need auto-draining

I was thinking one of those small plastic units for the lounge which are about 2.5 to 3k.
