Just curious as I don't order multiple items usually on Shoppe or Lazada.

as the headline asks .....    if I order 5 different items from 5 different shops am I charged 5 deliveries or do they bundle them together and charge 1 or 2 x delivery ?  as the delivery guy just has to come one or maybe two times.

Also the 'delivery guy' could be from one of up to half-a-dozen "delivery partners" so unless 'bundled' by a multi-item seller, each item will have it's own delivery charge. When the online multi-item purchases are made, the price per item/shipping (for collection if COD) is displayed.

Entirely upto the seller and is generally by progressive WEIGHT as that is what charges are generally based on, just like the Post Office. Seperate sellers separate charges probably different locations etc.

.

Some sellers lower the product price and Load the shipping ! You dont really think shipping is ever FREE !????

My experience is that even from the same shop they'll still charge you more for delivery albeit not x 5 but at a reduced rate.

Unless you're in an absolute hurry to order from Lazada, using their Android app you can get free or reduced delivery, cash back, discount coupons (coins), etc. that come from Lazada. Create an e-wallet and purchases might also earn discounts for future purchases. So there are ways to save costs.

As far as multiple item orders, I like the individual deliveries as you get vendor updates as to likely date for delivery through Lazada. Used to be that Lazada bundled all the orders into one delivery. But where an item is foreign sourced (China), it may take up to a week or longer getting to and clearing Thai customs.

I am kind of perplexed why these online shopping companies can't organize deliveries better, like gathering items with the same delivery name and address and order date same or not too far apart into a single delivery, that shouldn't be too difficult.

Not long ago I ordered two different items from Amazon and tracked the packages moving around all over the USA until finally they arrived at some airport hub for delivery to Thailand. I swear they travelled around America for several days befors arriving at that airport. Horrible waste of time, energy and resources.
