This will appeal to a particular tourist demographic, enhancing Thailand's cultural "soft power." I will not put up the link because it's too graphic. But if anyone wants to see who this is aimed at, just google up "Live Donkey Fed to Tigers at Chinese Zoo."

and now these animals fight till death

No they don't, the fight is until one shies away.

The local cock fights are without the metal spurs, and bull fights here are bull against bull, they butt and lock horns, there are no matadors.

Fish fights I've not witnessed.

Soft power. Like if Japan were to announce "come to Tokyo and eat whale sashimi".

Meanwhile no culling of soi dogs because religion forbits harming animals (in plain language: "because there's no money to be made in culling").

What about setting up dog fights with betting? That could take care of the dog problem.

'Thai PBS WORLD' logo in the text should be changed to '3rd WORLD' eh...

You realize that in Spain they still have bull fights that are even more stupid because every year humans get severely hurt and killed?

Compared to that I think the animal fights in Thailand are kinda funny
