Sanook Thai Caption: Saved by their seatbelts

Sanook reported on what they called the miracle survival of a driver and passenger in a car that somersaulted three times before ending up on its roof.

They said witnesses who saw the accident thought those involved must be dead.

But they survived with minor injuries thanks to their seatbelts.

The reason for the accident was a dog that crossed the car's path.

It happened on the Amnat Charoen to Ubon Ratchathani Road in Bung sub-district of Muang, Amnat Charoen.

In the Nissan were Wisarut, 26, the passenger who was slightly hurt and the driver, a female called Kittiyaporn, 33 who appeared to be the other man's sister. She was able to call a friend to pick them up and take them to hospital for a check-up.

The car hit the central kerb after swerving to miss the dog.

Witnesses were amazed at their survival with minor injuries noting that they were also lucky that there was no traffic following up that might have plowed into the wreckage.

So you are blind? there are photos and it is clearly a Nissan saloon car.

While many will say don't try to avoid a dog it can be a natural automatic reaction when driving.

Very lucky escape from death.

And blaming a dog when they were speeding to such an extent that the car turned over three times? If you are driving safely and normally that simply doesn't happen.

Thank you for your concern about my ability for sight .

I am not clued up about different types of vehicles on the market in Thailand .

However i am clued up on the amount of pick up trucks in Thailand rollover .

You never mentioned the moose test on vehicles that i had raised . Perhaps you have never heard of the test , then i therefore apologise to you .

Survival while wearing seat belts is not a a "miracle".

Were the media to make more of that than they do of the "my amulet saved me" **** and skcollob there might be a reduction in automobile deaths.

The only factor that might be in anyway considered "miraculous" is that the occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Thailand will continue to be a ****** up, backward country as long as it continues to push "spiritual" causations.

Not to mention that "other thing" and the rigor mortised, strangling, choking dead hands it has around the neck of socio-political progress.
