Phuket – An Indian man was arrested at Phuket International Airport for entering and staying in the country without a permit.


The Immigration Office at the Phuket International Airport told the Phuket Express that this week they have arrested MR. CHAUDHARY SHUBHAM, 28, Indian national.

 

He was arrested at the Immigration Checkpoint in the International Departure Terminal.

How did he arrive in the country one has to ask, and then why would he, if illegally entering, try to leave via a normal channel where your documentation is checked?  The story leaves a lot of info out, and yes I looked at the linked story...

And will his insaurance company still pay out for the compulsery stolen 200,000Bht  necklace.

Perhaps a worried citizen of Thailand attempted to increase tourism by selling a counterfeit stamp or visa to the guy. This citizen assured him that the stamp was genuine enough and that no one would detect it as a fake.
