Drugged up man arrested for four baht weight gold theft from woman in Pattaya - he went on a bender

Pattaya police arrested a 43 year old man called Chanon at the Rompho Market in Jomtien after a woman he had stolen gold from spotted him.

 

Chanon had been at thirty six year old Pawanrat's house in February doing an extension when she noticed 4 baht weight of gold (worth around 120,000 baht) had gone missing.

 

She reported the matter to police on February 20th.

Chanon said he'd sold the gold and spent all the money already on a gambling and drug binge.

 

He had a purple urine test for drugs and was charged with taking drugs and theft and detained by the Nong Prue constabulary, reported Daily News.

In the years we have lived here, we only let the same guy in who built the house to carry out anything we require, it's just too easy if you let a stranger in to case your place or take something IMO.
