Does anyone buy herb products from abroad?

Anything to say about quality, etc.

Bought loads from them, fast delivery, no problems.

Wait until they send you a 15% or 20% discount code before buying.

Same here.

About 10 years ago, customs began to be a pia.

So all people I know now keep their orders low, not over 45 or 50 USD per package. Otherwise you may have to travel to a post office (and it may not be the nearest one) to pay 500 baht import duty, takes the better part of a day.

Didn't buy for a while, but unless there was a change in the last few month I can only recommend them

Are customs still an issue?

How long do the products take to arrive?

iHerb seems to have worked out well how to label the packages and also what limit to ship (you will get an error message if you try to order more at a time, in value, than they can be delivered without issue.

Haven't had any customs issue in years using them

How long to arrive will depend on the item and where you live. I usually get in a few weeks.

My understanding is that as long as you keep your orders to under 1,500 baht, customs will not interfere.

My deliveries usually take two to three weeks. I have two separate orders on the way now - separated intentionally to avoid any customs duties.

I see they have free shipping for orders over 1,500 baht.

It seems to vary. I got free shipping recently on an order over 1,400 baht. So maybe that amount changes according to the current USD/THB exchange rate?

I see they have a Thai website, is it better to order from there?

https://th.iherb.com/

That's the one I use. I suppose the main difference is that the prices are quoted in THB, which might make it easier for Thai customs.

Bangkok 10-15 days

Yes, but if your order is high enough to qualify for free shipping you run the risk of having to pay import duty

Is this here a good site for discount codes or are there better options?

Update on my previous estimate of the delivery time: I ordered two packages on 2 March, and they both arrived today (to my pleasant surprise), after only eight days! (I am in Bangkok.)

I've been buying monthly from iHerb for most of this year, and the typical delivery time has been about 8 days.

However, this month the deliveries are significantly slower. I noticed in the order tracking that this month my orders are being delivered from LA to BKK via Doha, whereas in the past it had been LA to BKK via SG, so this change in transhipment location seems to have slowed the delivery times. Hopefully, the current delays are only temporary.
