A special task force of military, protection agency and police received a tip of a movement of Myanmar nationals crossing illegally into Thailand, reported Thai Rath yesterday.

In Moo 5, Ao Noi, Muang Prachuap Khiri Khan the taskforce arrested 18 illegal Myanmar workers who were on their way to work in Malaysia; there were 11 men and 7 women.

In addition three Myanmar facilitators were also arrested.

They had come from two cities in Myanmar and had had to pay agents 45,000 baht, up from the usual fee of 30,000 baht.

One of the migrants, a 36 year old man called Ong Pai was found to have a kilo of crystal meth and 2,000 yaba tablets in a shoulder bag.

He said that he had got the drugs to give to a Malaysian agent instead of cash.

All the suspects are now in the hands of the Klong Wan police.

why snitch?  Did the feds give you immunity or witness protection or something?

I hope you got a sweet deal.  If not, things don't look so good.
