david_je Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 Anyone here have had CGRP or other newer treatments for chronic refractory migraines and/or could recommend a migraine specialist in Bangkok who really keeps up to date on new treatments? Thanks.
scubascuba3 Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 Would be interesting to hear your symptoms? and how it differs from a regular migraineΒ

Would be interesting to hear from someone who has actually done this, or has seen a really good migraine specialist familiar with such treatments.
Sheryl Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 The doctor listed above is the only one I know of familiar with it. It is quite new.
Sheryl Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 P.S. this treatment would also be extremely expensive. Around 20,000 baht peri njection for the medication alone not including other charges. Β Have you already tried botox injections?

I guess getting at public hospital would help.Β I already have tried botox, nerve block, infusions, and all other categories of conventional meds.Β

Β Even at public hospital the drug cost remains considerable as there are no locally made brands.
