Sending USD to pay invoice in Australia

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have an invoice I need to pay to a company in Australia from my Thai company.

I have business banking with Kbank.

Because the invoice is in USD and must be received in USD, I can't use the international transfer option on KBIZ (Kbank's online banking service).

Deemoney will only send it as Thai Baht so that doesn't work either.

I can pay it if I go to the one Kbank branch in Pattaya where they do international payments, but I need to get a copy of my DBD paperwork etc, proper headache.

Does anybody know of a service that will let me pay an invoice in Australia in USD from Thailand?

Thanks in advance.

No bank or money transfer company will remit THB as THB, outside of Thailand, they all convert it to the destination currency of the receiving country first, as per BOT regulations..

I forgot to add: if you have a Thai company and you are paying an export bill, EXIM Bank will be able to help if Kasikorn wont.
