Krabi – The Krabi governor has ordered a solution to be found to the problem after taxi drivers in Krabi were found fighting for customers at Krabi Airport.


The Krabi Governor Mr. Passakorn Boonyaluck told the Phuket Express. “We have been informed about a particular violent incident over the past weekend. Taxi drivers were caught on viral video arguing and fighting about who had “ownership” of customers and about supposed “territory” at the Krabi International Airport. We have to prevent this kind of incident as it has damaged tourism.”

 

“The Krabi Land Transport Office and the Nuea Klong Police are investigating the incident and are trying to find better solutions for the future.

How many years has this been happening?

How is it possible with the booming tourism according to TAT. Tourist enough

Krabi is getting busier. Expanded airport, more package arrivals, plans for a Central Mall, lots of road construction for increasing traffic...

I hope we can keep off the big city problems a while longer.
