They make it very easy for Thai men to get Thai citizenship for foreign wives.  No profession or job in Thailand required for the women and the Thai husbands only to show they received income of 180,000 baht from any source the year before.  Foreign men to have a job in Thailand earning 80,000 a month for 3 years or 40,000, if married to a Thai.  Now it is proven that foreign women get Thai citizenship this way for criminal purposes and divorce the Thai hubby, they might want to look at cancelling the gender discrimination and make foreign men and women apply on the same basis.

Ha ha. That’s funny.

Did you cover the yellow Tabien Bann book yourself ?

No, just talking silly.

My name is in the family dark blue cover Tabien Baan book because I have a Certificate of Residence for Thailand - PR  (26+ years).

An option not open to men marrying Thai women?

That's how the law works - females can access assorted official status when marrying Thais. Yet, doesn't apply to foreign guys.

Like the horse of Troje, YOU, the Thai government, did open the gates widely for your Chinese masters.
YOU, the Thai government, made living in Thailand a breeze for your Chinese masters.
So, stop whinnig now about the Chinese.
All this is YOUR OWN FAULT!!!!
SOM NAM NAA

Wrong. The reason Farangs (non Thai) cannot own land in Thailand was to stop the Chinese owning land. Long time ago.

I thought so, I have the Pink ID card and the Yellow Book, no idea what they are good for, if anything, because I know you can't use the Pink ID card on domestic flights (Policy), same with hotels, as for the Yellow Book, no idea, but I suppose they have to be good for something, please don't say for reduced prices at National Parks or the like which I don't go to.

Thanks. I drive very little nowadays, my Thai son or his wife drive for family outings.

Son is well aware of 'farang / double prices' and refuses to accept this.

When there's discussions about a family outing son will refuse to discuss /to go where he's aware that the venue / location has double pricing.

The Pink card is mostly handy for setting up lines or sorting seeds from your stash.  Too soft for scraping paint.

her card was was acquired by illegal means..........if someone with a Yellow Tabien has acquired it by the same means then they probably already know that one day there might be a knock on the door.
