Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Thailand has a superb charging network, you don't need to worry about that, just plan to charge in advance if you're up country. You don't need a wallbox to charge, I have a friend who only charges at charging stations, mostly PTT's where she can have a coffee in Amazon and she's on her way in 30 minutes. Current expert thinking is that battery packs will last the life of the car. Statistics point to gas cars catching fire between 10 and 130 times more often than EV's, if you're worried about the fire risk, buy an EV, it's a LOT less likely to catch fire. Currently, if you charge at home it will 4 or 5 times cheaper than putting gas in your vehicle, if you charge at charging stations it will still be half the price of filling a gas car. I don't think you have to be worried about the price of electricity, remember the entire population needs it in their homes, I doubt you will ever see it significantly outpace inflation. -

The clever scientist. Is coming to an end. The truth is; in most cases, they didn't/don't know what they are talking about. And now people know they don't. Buy solar panels, then the price of electricity won't matter. My last electricity bill 350bht, that included my home, ev car, and ev bicycle.- 1
