A man was stabbed to death after a silly staring row in the Zeer Rangsit shopping mall in the Lam Luk Ka district of Pathum Thani province near Bangkok last night. The attacker surrendered himself to the police at the murder scene.

Officers from Khu Kot Police Station and a rescue team arrived at the murder scene at 9pm and discovered a 28 year old man named Narathip Tahawong lying on the floor with several serious wounds to his body.

Narathip had been stabbed in his chest, right arm, right knee, and back. He was immediately rushed to Pat Rangsit Hospital but, unfortunately, died later.

According to the police, Narathip worked at a printer service shop in the shopping mall, and Pheeran, the alleged murderer, was the son of a shop owner in the same mall. They reportedly had a dispute after they both stared at each other. The conflict eventually led to the stabbing.

The possibility that this row had been going on for some time seems possible.  May the decedent RIP and the suspect be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.

From the link in the OP it appears there is more to the story.

"Pheeran explained that Narathip blamed him for staring at him while he was walking to the bathroom, and he got angry and dared him to fight even though he did not have a weapon with him at that time.

According to Pheeran, Narathip threatened to shoot him. He allegedly said…

“My gun bullets do not have any eyes. They might accidentally go to you"

"Pheeran then sought a knife and carried it with him all the time. Narathip later went to his shop with an iron rod and struck him with it. Pheeran fought back by stabbing Narathip. Narathip fled from the scene, but Pheeran followed him and continued stabbing him."

so basically, N started the violence, and then tried to leave when he was losing, but P wasn't having it and finished him off.

Proper eye contact in public is a skill I learned very young being from New York City.  A facial expression can convey more information than a well-composed paragraph.  It can certainly convey "<expletive deleted> you."  It's the easiest thing in the world to say.

Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Mister Bean, and many others made movies without speaking 1 word.
Yes, their face and their limbs could speak more than 1 thouend words.
Take care about how you look at somebody.
Not everybody sepaks the same "Dumb" language as you.
RIP to the poor deceased guy

The actual truth is so different from the headline,

It's also the easiest thing in the world to misinterpret.

And being able to say "deleted you" hardly conveys more information than a well-constructed paragraph.
