Satellite Tv

I have recently bought a condo in Bangkok near Huay Kwang. I am currently spending time travelling between Australia and Thailand. The condo building is 18 stories and has a satellite dish on the roof. I am trying to find out what satellite provider has AFL football, from my investigations UBC does not carry ABC Asia. I have tried to talk to some providers and look on nthe net but not with much success. Can anyone help me. I am a new user to this forum and have had some problem following the system so if you have received this before, SORRY.

The only sats that broadcast Australia Network (formerly ABC Asia Pacific) with a footprint over Bangkok are Intelsat 7/10 at 68.5 East and Agila 2 KU at 146 East.

You would need a dedicated (or movable) dish and receiver to access it.

There is a company in Bangkok who could help you with this: JSat.

Try some of the cable providers. Australia network is on cable here in Phuket and is on cable in Hua Hin and several other places I have stayed on my travels around thailand it has been part of the cable package.

Try other cable TV. UBC-True Vision is so unreliable!!!. yesterday I am watching Cartoon Network suddenly the language change from English to Thai! D**m, i subscribed for cable tv to watch something that I can understand
