Chuwit opens "anti-marijuana center" in final push to prevent cannabis legalization

On May 3, 2023, at the Davis Sukhumvit Hotel, Mr. Chuwit Kamolwisit announced the official opening of the Center for Anti-Cannabis (CAC). He shared that the site previously housed a marijuana shop within the hotel area.

INN reported that Mr. Chuwit rented the space for six months and transformed it into an anti-marijuana center upon the lease's expiration on April 30.

The center provides free anti-marijuana products, shirts, badges, and stickers, as part of a final push to garner support for the youth's future ahead of the upcoming election.

Mr. Chuwit stated that political parties must cease campaigning by 12:00 noon on May 13. Subsequently, at 4:00 p.m., he will initiate a campaign against cannabis legalization at Lumphini Park, without targeting any specific political party or allowing malicious individuals to govern the country.

His run will resemble "Chuwit Gump" (similar to Forrest Gump), and others are welcome to join him. More announcements will follow.

In response to Mr. Anutin's insistence on implementing a pro-cannabis policy, Mr. Chuwit considers it a mistake and believes Mr. Anutin cannot reverse the decision.

He sees the policy as putting society at risk and questions whether Mr. Anutin is prioritizing electoral victory over the wellbeing of society, youth, and the nation's future. He doubts Mr. Anutin can answer these questions.

Mr. Chuwit is determined to oppose cannabis legalization, pledging to resist until the Bhumjaithai Party becomes an opposition party, refusing to join the government, and returning cannabis to the list of illicit drugs. He is confident that Mr. Anutin will be isolated from the pro-cannabis movement and declares that he will drag Mr. Anutin "to h*ll" with him on May 14.

His struggle to remain relevant failed when he went anti-cannabis. For some reason he only jumped on the ani-cannabis train recently. And he never mentions the drug scourge which is yaba.

  • He's barking up the wrong tree.    He's normally very astute, but I feel he's got this one very wrong. There are more important issues that require his attention.

He seems to have grown tired of being the anti-corruption crusader.

He should be campainging for candidates/parties which are committed to re-criminalizing cannabis. But maybe that isn't flashy enough for him.

He needs a good bowel movement.

I suspect he's just upset he didn't get involved in this cash cow early on and is now too far behind the curve to cash in.

He has a decades-long personal feud with the Chidchob (Buriram/BJT) family.

Nothing more, nothing less. Most people know this.

I reckon the silly old coot will be lucky to see Election day the way he is going.

Meh. People have been predicting his demise for decades.

And by focusing on cannabis, and not corruption (or the dozen real issues), he is helpful in the election run-up.

He used to get a massive gaggle, like 50+ "journos", for his skits. Now he's lucky to get a handful.

Get back on track of draining the swamp.

Just trying to maintain some relevance. Way too little way too late ????????????????????????????????

Is this some kind of joint partnership?

Where is the anti yabba center and the ant crack ?  Prohibition makes criminals richer ...oh wait !

It used to be said that the use of soft drugs would lead to the misuse of hard drugs. I guess in this part of the world the hard drugs are already widely available perhaps due in part to corruption.

What was the point of this article? To try to give someone attention that very very few people if any are listening to? LMAO

WEED IS HERE TO STAY! Get used to it ????

He has done all he can until after the election.  The police are cracking down on Chinese corrupt cops are being outted.

He can not talk about any political person party or issue until 14 may.

But alcohol, which is linked to all sorts of crimes, is fine?

This guy needs a hobby.

As you rightly say, time to talk about politics.

I think the two military P's are on the slide and his focus seems to be on silencing Anutins chances, thus giving more credence  to Pheu Thai or Move forward parties.

Keep going, Chuwit!
