Owner of 27 Gambling Websites Found Dead in Police Cell after Arrest in Thailand

Sa Kaeo: -- A former associate of a senior police officer and owner of 27 gambling websites, was discovered dead in his cell at Klong Luek Police Station in Sa Kaeo Province after being detained following his arrest.

 

Mr. Pakphoom, 30, was arrested on May 7 and was being held on charges of online gambling and money laundering.

He was also accused of causing the death of a 25-year-old male victim, who had allegedly been drugged and later died on March 4.

 

According to Thai media Sanook, Mr. Pakphoom was found dead in his cell the following morning.

The case has garnered significant public attention, and it is believed that stress and anxiety from the charges may have contributed to his death.

 

While the investigation into the case involving both victims cannot proceed further due to Mr. Pakphoom's death, the DSI has seized all of his assets, leaving no room for any civil claims for damages.

All the cameras had a fault apart from 1 that was pointing towards the ceiling .
