The Pheu Thai party issued a statement on Monday saying that it will not try to form a coalition in competition with the Move Forward party and will let the latter to do its duty as the core party in the formation of a new government.

The statement was read by party leader Cholnan Srikaew, in the presence of Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Srettha Thavisin, two of Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidates, the party’s secretary-general Prasert Chanthararuangthong and deputy leader Phumtham Wechayachai, at the party’s head office this afternoon (Monday).

In the statement, the Pheu Thai party thanked the people for their overwhelming support of the pro-democracy camp, which reflects the aspiration for change in Thailand.

working together makes them strong..... unnecessary arguments over who gets what and who's what will divide people, that should be avoided

Move Forward Party will benefit from the experience of Pheu Thai who has been in the government numerous times while Pheu Thai gain benefit from the wide-spread support that Move Forward Party is enjoying. With a clear House majority, it is a win-win opportunity for both to work together.

Taksin’s family will wait for now. But it is a face losing thing for them not to be on top. They see it as they helped Pita to be where he is now so in their minds he owes them and will expect him to pass the mantle to them as a good loyal Thai would do.

This is somewhat old news. Things are moving rapidly. Pita is in the process of forming a 309 MP, 6 party coalition. Prayut is gone. Pita will be the next PM of Thailand and the 250 lackey senators will have no choice but to abandon Prayut and accept the will and the mandate of the people.

Tell me when did the Senators ever accept the will and mandate of the Thai people?

Never, obviously because they see their role as serious back up / support for prayut and other military activities. In essence:  the glorification of the military, nothing more.

What drivel.

Completely made up nonsense with zero truthful or factual content.

Why do you bother?

Of course.  There's a Thai word for that, but can't remember what it is... I scratch your back, you scratch mine..
