The Move Forward Party’s decisive success in yesterday’s general election has been reflected in Phuket, where the party took all 3 seats. The Phuket News reports that unofficial results have confirmed wins for the party in all 3 constituencies.

The young party, that’s won the most seats in the new parliament, also swept Bangkok, winning all 33 constituencies in the capital.

Somchart Techathavorncharoen is the presumed, but not yet official, winner in Constituency 1, made up of the Phuket Town sub-districts of Talad Yai and Talad Neua, Koh Kaew, and Ratsada. Somchart got 18,604 votes and took to Facebook to thank all those who voted for him.
