'a week on Monday' and 'next Monday' are the same. Both are the Monday that follows 'this monday' which is short for 'this coming Monday'

As you want. I guess it could depend on where you come from in UK.

Maybe ask Susie Dent! 555

  • Dry season expected to end next Monday with the arrival of rainy season I am soooo ready.  I hate this time of year.  Between the oppressive heat and the air quality, there is nothing good about it

I'm just going to have a guess. WRONG! This will be the earlist start to the wet season since I've been here. 19 yrs. If anything it's been sliding later.

I read a similar report in the Post this morning and it came from the Meteorological Department.

Unfortunately nature controls the weather and completely ignores the man made rules of the Met Office. It will rain where, when and how much nature decides, and NO matter what the Met office says that it is official.

Many centuries ago King Canute proved that by telling people that he had no control over the tides.

The Thai Met office obviously does not know that story.

I've been here long enough to know to go abraod in April

I always used to.... April or May was my trip back to the UK. I have even woken up to snow on the ground in North UK, after leaving the Thailand heat. But time marches on, and there is little left for me there, and I lose motivation.
