That’s not it. It’s not near the beach.

It was on the Russian Tour list. A Russian acquaintance used to work there. COVID-19 put paid to that. Might have even been earlier. I don’t remember exactly.

I thought it looked like it died before it was ever finished.

 

The rooms now are empty. It looks like it was never furnished and just left before it was completed. I guess that could be from people taking whatever is not nailed down, or perhaps everything possible got sold off when money problems started. It looks like a concentration camp now, just a skeleton of concrete structure.

I am not sure about finished but it was certainly open pre covid and remember seeing what I presumed were staff and tourists going in and out.  Never looked that busy even then.

Maybe they started a new construction there. Woraburi was purple if I remember correctly. 
Perhaps a refurb that was abandoned when the tourist flow diminished to nothing.
