Lawyers defending Donald Trump in an investigation related to his handling of highly sensitive national security documents were spotted entering the Justice Department on Monday, as special counsel Jack Smith appears to be approaching a charging decision in the matter.

CBS observed the attorneys, including James Trusty and Lindsey Halligan, entering DOJ’s offices late Monday morning. The subject of their visit was not immediately clear, nor was the identity of the officials they were slated to meet.

The Justice Department referred questions on the matter to a spokesman for Smith, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Of course, Trump is not happy! ????

"HOW CAN DOJ POSSIBLY CHARGE ME, WHO DID NOTHING WRONG, WHEN NO OTHER PRESIDENT’S WERE CHARGED, WHEN JOE BIDEN WON’T BE CHARGED FOR ANYTHING, INCLUDING THE FACT THAT HE HAS 1,850 BOXES, MUCH OF IT CLASSIFIED, AND SOME DATING BACK TO HIS SENATE DAY WHEN EVEN DEMOCRAT SENATORS ARE SHOCKED. ALSO, PRESIDENT CLINTON HAD DOCUMENTS, AND WON IN COURT. CROOKED HILLARY DELETED 33,000 EMAILS, MANY CLASSIFIED, AND WASN’T EVEN CLOSE TO BEING CHARGED! ONLY TRUMP - THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!"

Sources told Andrew Feinberg of The Independent that Meadows' decision to plead guilty was connected to his testimony to a grand jury hearing evidence about Jan. 6 and the mishandling of classified documents.

"It is understood that the former North Carolina congressman will plead guilty to several federal charges as part of a deal for which he has already received limited immunity in exchange for his testimony," Feinberg wrote.

Feinberg also reported that special counsel Jack Smith is prepared to ask for an indictment of Trump as soon as Thursday.

Right now there is no official will they indict/when will they indict.  DT is making stuff up, like he did with Bragg, remember his "next Tuesday" announcement which didn't happen, though it did happen a few days later?  He tries to make it look like his has the inside track, as if he has some control.  He's 24/7 on the con.  That all caps message candide posted above really boils down to "SEND ME $$$!!"  I think there may be some indictments pertaining to his money appeals.

Smith was caught by a TV crew yesterday.

The guy carries his own bag as well as his own lunch, gotta admire that.  Those two other guys look like tech operators, not bodyguards -- I think he should be more cautious.

I can never get bored with it! ????

"No one has told me I'm being indicted," he wrote.

He continued, "and I shouldn’t be because I’ve done NOTHING wrong, but I have assumed for years that I am a Target of the WEAPONIZED DOJ & FBI, starting with the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX, the 'No Collusion' Mueller Report, Impeachment HOAX #1, Impeachment HOAX #2, the PERFECT Ukraine phone call, and various other SCAMS & WITCH HUNTS," Trump wrote."

Prosecutors ready to ask for Trump indictment on obstruction and Espionage Act charges

The Independent has learned that prosecutors are prepared to ask grand jurors to vote on charges as early as Thursday

Smart guys....

From your link:

"The Independent has learned that prosecutors are ready to ask grand jurors to approve an indictment against Mr Trump for violating a portion of the US criminal code known as Section 793, which prohibits “gathering, transmitting or losing” any “information respecting the national defence”.

The use of Section 793, which does not make reference to classified information, is understood to be a strategic decision by prosecutors that has been made to short-circuit Mr Trump’s ability to claim that he used his authority as president to declassify documents"
