snoop1130
Leader of the Bhumjaithai Party Anutin Charnvirakul denied reports that his party was secretly planning to form a coalition government in competition with the Move Forward Party. In his first full interview after Thailand’s general election on May 14th, Mr. Anutin, who is also the current caretaker Minister of Public Health, told reporters today, June 6th, that he has not talked with anybody regarding the forming of a coalition government. There were reports that Anutin’s party Bhumjaithai, which has 71 MP seats and was third place in the recent election, would join forces with the Pheu Thai Party to form a government if the Move Forward Party, which is currently facing numerous political hurdles, failed to do so. Popular Post Toolong
Anutin denies that there is any such plan. Ergo....there is indeed a plan. And you can take that to the bank. After all, I've used the simple, tried & tested calculus of discerning truth from fiction in the utterances of Thai politicians of the old guard: by inverting any claimed assertion in terms of whatever its grammatical polar-opposite representation might be. For example: 'We care about the people.' inverts to 'We don't give a flying **** about the people.' Similarly, 'We have no plans to form a coalition govt with Pheu Thai', becomes, once inverted, 'Coalition with Pheu Thai? Well, what else would any opportunist hustler like me do in the circumstances? ***k, yeah!' 1 1

zzaa09
Secrets behind back doors? Shouldn't all these skullduggerous activities be "public" - since it is the people's government [in theory]. Just a thought. Scoundrels.

So what's the concern among thieves if their crooked circle is left out in the cold for a brief period? They're all set for life. What should be more unsettling is that they'll be back in one form or another. Rest assured. It's why the call, currently, for their collective prosecution and imprisonment is terribly vital for the future and upkeep of Thai society. I think that this is probably going to be a discussion. The problem is, who else do they get to join them? PPRP or UTN have to be non-starters unless Thaksin wants to kill the PT. The challenge is oign to be will the Senate agree to another Thaksin in power? Will the people allow anyone other than MFP? Do the PT leaders want to kill their party?
