McDonald's suffers worst U.S. sales decline since 2020
Solar power and batteries, dig a well, buy a septic tank. Homelessness is government policy! -

Elon Musk’s European crisis deepens—initial April sales numbers prove devastating for Tesla
Of course, if you can read, you must have read my post. I said "over the past month." And you can see the chart I posted, I presume. Tesla hit a recent bottom and is trending up. At lest that's the recent trend. And if you want to play games with charts, what does this trend look like to you? Looks like up to me. You can drive yourself nuts worrying about short to intermediate term noise. More than a few billionaires have gone broke trying to short Tesla. It's a losing game. And as to whether I should be in the stock market? I'm up YTD in a fairly significant way, and for the past 12 months, almost 300%. And you? -

Dealing with constipation
Most of it regarding older age is lowered enzymes, changes in gut microbiome, yes, muscles in the abdomen not as efficient, lack of enough fiber and water, less the stomach muscles and more lack of movement in general has it get slower. Some medications are very bad, especially opioids. My ex wife had to have her large intestine removed because her doctors got her hooked on opioids for way too long for general pains. -

The downhill trajectory of Chiang Mai immigration
That's not the way it was initially. I do remember (same as Worgeordie) that when the airport Immigration building closed, we had to get to Promenada very early and had to queue up outside with the hope of ending up with a reasonable queue number so we could get the annual extension before the staff's lunch break. There were even people claiming they actually showed up at 3-4AM and said even then that there were agents (or their "sitters") already sitting in the first seats with a bagful of passports and various Immigration paperwork. Later (once new Immigration building was finished?), the office at Promenada moved upstairs.....but, if I recall right, they no longer did annual extensions out there (not 100% sure of that as from that point on I only went to the airport Immigration building). -

Feature From Cowboy Hats to Neon Lights: The Evolution of Bangkok's Soi Cowboy
Anyone remember the Red Diamond bar from the 70s, opposite the Cowboy, run by a Swedish guy called Rolf? That's the first bar I went in. Rolf went on to try and found a free ad-based Internet service in the late 90s but was nobbled by CAT. Other early bars were Mukda's (the candle show) and the Jetset Lounge where I first saw Bladerunner on video. Those were the days! -
