If a person is dumb enough to:

1/ Carry items of value around with them,

2/ Do it at 4 am,

3/ In an place well known for solicitation.

Said person IMO is asking to be robbed.

Or setting the scene for an insurance claim.

Thieving, light fingered ladyboy! I woke up at 5.00am this morning!

What is a lone straight man doing on the streets of Pattaya at 4 am? even the street's walkers are a sleep by now, even the story of the lost neckless by a ladyboy sound suspicious.

Yeah well didn't he notice story's about not to wear gold n stuff.

Most of these are insurance scams if they are legitimate they deserve to loose their jewellery, idiots walking around in Thailand showing off for no reason at all

Same same but different I don't think ladyboys care where you come from as long as you have your bling on  I think he's been reading the news and thought I'll go for a walk at 4 am bs

Mr Mehmet said he had read about non-binary pickpockets and necklace thieves operating in Pattaya and maintained vigilance to avoid falling victim to the naughty non-bs.

Pity his vigilance didn’t run as far as leaving the 25k baht gold necklace at home. Why would you want to wear such an expensive and easily liftable bauble while walking along Beach Road or Walking Street?

Unfortunately Mr Mehmet was aware to look out for non-binary pickpockets and necklace thieves but wasn't on his guard for lady boys????

Remember when Trannies and assorted LGBTQIA2S+XYZ#@&%! were referred to singularly as Kotoey.....

Can we go back to that, please.

Soon our golf caddiess will be referring to our hybrid rescue clubs as T clubs ????

What a terrible place Pattaya is. Thefts, people get beaten up, scams in the bars. Beach is nothing special. Why would you like to stay there?

Another lying tourist,  or a poorly written event.

He says he has read story and is vigilant but yet he wore a 25,000 baht around his neck? Not clear since headline of article says he was " pickpocket " which mean it was in his pocket in that case smart transgender to see a budging pocket otherwis it was around his next in that case it should have been Snatched.

Then it is written " he " but ended with " they "

Taking in the breeze and sights on beach at 4 am????
