In a small house in Nakhon Ratchasima province, the inhabitants were besieged by a massive swarm of insects, numbering in the thousands.

The situation worsened during rainfall, as the insects multiplied exponentially. During sunlight, the insects sought refuge under furniture, in the corners of rooms, and even inside stored food, causing extensive damage.

Moreover, an overwhelming stench permeated the air, creating a highly distressing environment. Desperate for assistance, the affected residents pleaded for the intervention of relevant authorities, reported Sanook.

Local authorities swiftly responded to the alarming situation, sending a team of experts to assess the scale of the infestation and provide necessary aid. They identified the invading insects as a species of millipede known for their nuisance behavior. Although not typically aggressive, their large numbers and offensive odor posed a significant threat to the well-being and daily lives of the affected residents.

Efforts are underway to control the infestation and alleviate the distress of the homeowners. Experts are employing various measures, including insecticide treatments and environmental modifications, to mitigate the invasion and prevent future occurrences.

The war of a thousand legs continues, but with determined intervention, hope remains for the residents to regain their peaceful abode once again.

I'm sending a team of 20 Isaan ladies to attack the problem.  They feel confident of being able to consume, som tum or pickle most of the bugs within 2 days.  There is also a commitee looking at the possibility of the protein being used to overcome the recent problems with school lunches if there are further outbreaks.
