He proclaims to be one, but then he proclaims many things, the majority of which are totally false. I mean, he has told more confirmed lies than just about any politician in history and continues to do so. Sure, his supporters are throwing loads of money to keep him afloat, which if he were indeed as super rich as he proclaims he wouldn't need and could tell them to keep it for themselves. Over half of Americans and an overwhelming majority of Europeans have worked out he is completely untrustworthy and if not financially, most definitely morally bankrupt, which makes it really amazing that a hard core bunch of folk can't see the wood for the trees on the matter. While "Not it isn't" in itself is not actually a sentence, least not in English anyway, it does though have the interesting aspect of the use of a double negative, with the not and the isn't cancelling each other out, to effectively become Yes it is, meaning you agree with my sentiment all the time. As in "I ain't done nothing", means you have done something, A Freudian slip perhaps, when you say or write what your brain is really thinking, not what you meant to say. 1

No cult member here. I liked what Trump did for the economy in his first term, as well as in foreign policy. After he lost in 2020 I wish he would have taken a step back and let some younger and less tainted people step forward. Wishful thinking though. He has a total lack of introspection that is fascinating and horrifying. I am amused at the impact he still has on so many people and how much real estate he occupies in their heads.

To your last point for me it is not about Trump but his supporters. I get that there could be a person like Trump, but the fact that so many have and continue to support him is bamboozling, and a depressing indictment on aspects of human nature. Also the fact that so many Republican politicians still won't be critical is saddening, though understandable given his popularity, but still speaks of the worst in human nature. So the fascination is not with the flawed pathetic man but with the fact that he still can be so significantly supported. Kinda hard to like someone who has had life handed to them on a silver platter who dodges the draft insults pows whilst riding the limo to the disco humm?or perhaps the enabling of Putin by stabbing nato in the guts?or how about humiliating our country on the world stage?perhaps the mishandling of the pandemic pandemic and getting Americans killed dead?or running up the national debt up 25% in 4 years?constant lies?undermining our democracy?overt racism?blabbing top secret info?trying to destroy our democracy?I could go on suffice to say rational people see Trump unfit at the least the majority see him as criminal.as far as president Biden is concerned he’s getting positive results for America big time flaws in all.to me I find it suspect all the spurious attacks it certainly at the very least isent helpful in moving the country forward,it seems to be directed at undermining America and our institutions 5 1
