Popular Post webfact Posted July 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 10, 2023 Pattaya, Thailand-The body of missing German businessman Hans Peter Mack, 62, was found in a rental home in Pattaya last evening and was confirmed early this morning, July 11th, 2023 around 12:30 AM by Banglamung officials. First, you can catch up on our previous coverage of the week-long search for Mr. Mack and the three million baht reward that had been offered for his safe return here. Mr. Mack’s body was found in a large freezer in a rental home in the Chokchai Garden Home 1 Village in Pattaya which police targeted following reviewing leads they had been investigating throughout the last 24 hours and CCTV that showed the freezer being transported in a black pickup truck by what appeared to be foreign nationals. Mr. Mack’s body had been cut into multiple pieces, according to forensic technicians, placed in black garbage bags, and stored in a freezer at the rental room. There was nobody present at the home at the time of the discovery, but neighbors said there had been until yesterday morning, July 10th, 2023. According to Mr. Rewat Rodchuen, 35 years old, a neighbor of the rental villa in question, the home had been occupied by a German friend of Mr. Mack, so far only identified as Olaf, who had been interviewed by police over the weekend regarding the disappearance of Mr. Mack. Olaf had reportedly lived in the home for about three months, according to Rewat. You may be right; however, IMO a statistical analysis would show the probability of a pensioner being kidnapped/murdered for money would be much less. Many wealthy people take security precautions, e.g. bodyguards. 3 1 1

Popular Post Kerryd Posted July 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 10, 2023 One of the first lessons I learned in Thailand. Never be worth more dead than you are alive. 2nd thing I learned was that 9 out of 10 foreigners in this country can barely afford to live here and they would dearly love to have your money in their pocket. And will come up with all manner of scams and "tear jerking" stories to try and get your money into their pocket. Sheesh, my 74 year old buddy was scammed out of 10,000 last year by a "friend" (he met in a bar of course) who claimed he'd been arrested for overstaying and had to pay the police 10,000 baht or he'd be arrested and deported. Of course he would pay it back right away once he got his passport back (blah blah blah). Even had my buddy meet him at Immigration to hand over the money (to him, not the police). And my buddy swore it was legit - because the guy was "his friend". And then I asked if the guy had paid him back. No. I asked when the last time he saw him. That day at Immigration. Even then he didn't want to believe the guy had just scammed him. I told him the guy was probably still in Pattaya, just drinking in a different bar in a different part of town for awhile. And I never lend money to any of my Thai friends either. Do it once and instantly you go from friend to ATM machine. The difference is, if they owe you too much then suddenly you are worth more to them dead than you are alive. 11 3 1 3 3 6 2

The previous article said something about a land deal on Koh Samui worth around 700 million baht. It was noted in the previous thread that the victim had been involved in shady business before (namely being the "customer" of a Thai pimp that had supplied him with an underaged girl). 2 4 2

Popular Post Dukeleto Posted July 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 10, 2023 I am going to say it again! Don’t these people read these news threads??? Would be conversation between criminals: Boss: “I know a guy, we are going to hit him for a whole heap of cash and then kill him.” Gang Member: “So where is this taking place.” Boss: “Thailand” Gang Member: Are you @&%#Ing nuts!!! Honestly, they can’t be a very bright bunch this lot. If you wanted to do anything in The Kingdom like that you need the following: 1. Not be a foreigner. 2. Have possession of Harry Potters Invisibility cloak. 3. Voldemort’s wand and a fabulous grasp of magic. 5

'You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together. And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it?' They did all right in the chop up phase, but pooch screwed and left it in the deep freeze. 2 2
