Pattaya — Police arrested a Thai man in Pattaya for possessing an illegal shotgun.

The apprehension was in response to a crackdown order on criminals hiding in Chonburi province, with a focus on foreigners but also targeting Thai criminals.

Police officers in Chonburi have been instructed by the national police chief, Pol Gen Damrongsak Kittiprapas, to wage wars on all forms of criminal individuals and enterprises, following a shocking incident when German real estate broker Hans Peter Mack was killed and dismembered by two foreigners and a dual Pakistani/Thai national last week.
