Spike proteins isn't that in vaccines? ????

Technically, the answer is No.

The mRNA (messenger RNA) vaccines deliver a payload that uses your body's cells to produce a piece of the spike protein. The cells then display that spike protein piece on their surface, which in turn is recognized by the immune system as foreign material, so the immune system creates antibodies to neutralize what it thinks is an infection.

You can read the whole sorry saga at the CDC website here.

People on the forums that  constantly criticize any sort of medical findings or treatment. . .The great majority of them have no medical qualifications whatsoever.  And  many  will downplay anything because they can’t afford medical care , or even a vaccine .

..and how many died  'with covid' rather than 'from covid' were bundled in those number ?

A larger percentage I'd guess.

Don't you get a little embarrassed wheeling out that little bit of irrelevant nonsense over and over. People were made to look foolish saying that 3 or so years ago.

One could say it's hardly news at all. Sub-variants will keep on coming and keep on being mild and keep on being faster spreading than its predecessor. IMO we do not need to know. What's the point?

What's the point?  To help fill the medical professions pockets.

Over and over ? I have not been wheeling out any such thing repeatedly.

Quote your source that they all died from covid on its own.

To keep COVID vulnerable people out of the hospitals and out of the morgues....

And to remind people such as yourself that COVID continues to put people in hospitals and kill them every week, every month, here in Thailand and elsewhere.

And everyone should be mindful, if they have any care for others, to minimize the potential that they'll catch COVID and spread it to others around them.

Yep.

Unfortunately, you’re trying to reason with people who only give a <deleted> about those public health issues which affect them personally.

I got it a few weeks ago for the first time. Never wear masks anywhere. It was no more than a mild sore throat, dry cough and tiredness for a few days. I know other's who got hit harder and many friends who wear masks constantly and have been infected up to 5 times. All the waves we have seen have not been controlled by mask wearing, as mask wearing has hardly changed here during the pandemic (until very recently). Most Thais seemingly have not kicked this habit. It's sad they can't wear motorbike helmets the same way. This would save many more lived per day than any mask would.

yeah I reckon ive had it a few times... never do I get a cold in Thailand but have since 2020.

You have proof of this? Show us how hospitals would have done this and why.

''The U.K. records any death that occurs within 28 days of a positive PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 as a COVID-19 death.''

''Similarly, in the U.S., CDC dataTrusted Source showed that COVID-19 was the sole cause of only about 5% of listed COVID-19 deaths.''

Power misleading!  You quote "COVID-19 was the sole cause of about 5% of listed COVID-19 deaths.''

and forget the entire following line (their bold)

"In the U.S., at least 90% of such recorded deaths had COVID-19 as the underlying cause of death rather than contributing cause."

They are disproving your misleading point. They continue to conclude: No evidence of overcounting.

No, they use the whole spike.

"The uniting feature of current genetic COVID-19 vaccines is the provision of mRNAs for the whole, membrane-anchored spike protein" [ref]

Only country in the world where schools still implement covid based health restrictions.

What country are you in?

No COVID restrictions in any of our kids schools here in Thailand.

Not sure of your country - but am aware a number of schools in Thailand still implementing masking and testing policies. Both amongst students and staff.

Not universal sure, rare in international schools, but still there.

Along the same lines - where else in the world where do the major convenience stores and supermarkets implement compulsory face coverings for staff?

Healthy 18 year olds working their first job at Makro and 7-11 forced to wear a face covering all shift, comes across pretty absurd at this point.

You only read what you want to see. You seem to omit the line after the 90% and that fact the author discusses how the doctors are not consistent.

Regarding no evidence of overcounting, I never said there was. My response was related to people dying with or by covid.

If only the idea of “Thailand 4.0” and BMW’s with iPads (aka “immigration smart cars”), an aircraft carrier rusting away in the sea for decades, nuclear subs with no engines, trying to buy US F-35’s a year after Thailand had been warned of their lack of qualified commercial flight pilots, etc, had been as effective and advanced as COVID. Now there is Coronavirus XBB subvariant, named EG.5.1. Great. Now Thailand has problems. Smh
