Your threatened your family is threatened and you have to leave the Country. Funny that the day before a vote one of the main pretenders is silenced. I somehow think depending on who is involved the protests will go on as long as the wrong party is in power. I am stillnot convinced that the Senate will support an MFP PT coalition therefore they may not support a PT PM candidate. Remember in this country the military is all about the military and have never let the PT have a full term as ruling party.

Even a minority government is possible and can be managed with dekrets similar C-times. I see a majority apart from MF. And PheuThai even get the ticket to bring someone home. PheuThai wont go on streets. I think it's a mistake to imagine Thais aren't screaming out for a change to 112, albeit a silent scream. There are 2 streams of thought. The official one, and "the one that dares not speak it's name". When you have laws suppressing any freedom of expression, don't expect people to risk their liberty by coming out with their real feelings. There's a lot more going under the surface. 4

Thaksin understands that he got his a$$ kicked in the last election and that the people want a change. Any attempt to join forces with military backed parties will just lump PT in with them in the mind of the electorate and be the kiss of death for the party. 3 2
Popular Post bamnutsak
I'd argue that he doesn't "own" the shares, just as Prawit doesn't "own" the watches. The iTV shares are/were "owned" by Pita's father. He is the shareholder of record. If those shares exist now, they exist within a trust. Next I'd ask how Pita could have distanced himself from these shares as there is no market for them? Burn them? Bury them" Transfer ownership, somehow? Finally, the Court must accept that owning media shares implies that the firm is active. If it is not, then no benefit comes from owning them. Did iTV give Pita free coverage and advertising? It will be interesting to see the Constitutional Court ties themselves into knots arriving at a guilty vote. I think it took them ~ 9 months to clear Thaksin back in 2001 by an 8-7 vote. 4 1 3

So they need their arch enemies to join too to have a majority in Parliament - The Democrats, Pravit's party, Prayuth's party. Yes, Pheu Thai, join with those military backed parties you swore you would never join. If you had an ounce of democratic backbone you would follow MF into the Opposition and let the military backed minority government fail at the first hurdle..But you can't, your owner wants to come back to Thailand so you'll work with the junta parties. Were they even transferred to Pita at the time? This is a job for lawyers, pure and simple. But Pita wasn't allowed to put his case to the EC before it went to the CC. Extraordinary legal procedure, and one over which the EC is now being sued by the MFP. They've removed his MP status while his case has yet to be heard. How is that possible? I guess while it's pending? 3

Shots were fired by the military on more than one occasion. Last year there were some very moving memorials and exhibitions across Bangkok to commemorate that many hundreds who have been murdered by the military in Thailand in very recent times. The Rap Against Dictatorship video has had over 100m views. Thais haven't forgotten the dark recent past even if you are oblivious to it. Surely this can not be correct even in Thailand I've googled the same question. Can an executor be a beneficiary? Yes, it's perfectly legal. But, the question of ownership is surely moot, as they are technically "owned" by his late father's estate, until released from probate, and transferred to Pita's ownership. They would have to be reregistered in his name with his signature on them. At that point, if he did sign for them, he became the owner. But somewhere along the line, they were transferred to other family members. Or so I believe. What really annoys me is the apparent complete absence of a legal team. I mean HELLO??? Here you are, repeating the same mistake your predecessor made, and you can't see it? At that point I really begin to wonder about his political savvy. And of all those around him. And Thanathorn who could have easily tipped him off. Like a lamb to the slaughter.
